Fox Home Entertainment
has recently announced, that Batman: The Movie Special Edition
will be coming to Blu-Ray on July
1st, 2008. Batman: The Movie was a
pre-cursor to the hughely popular Batman TV series, which
ran from 1966 to 1968 on ABC. (FYI: There is still no word on when
the Batman TV series will come to DVD or Blu-Ray at this
time.)
The single-disc set
will have a total runtime of 105 minutes and will have audio tracks
in English, with subtitles in English, Frnech and Spanish. Batman:
The Movie Special Edition will be in Widescreen (1.85:1).
