BBC Home Video has recently announced,
that Doctor Who: The Complete 4th Season and the animated
feature Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest will both be heading
to DVD on November 18th, 2008.
Doctor Who: The Complete 4th Season will be a 6-disc
set, which will include all 13 episodes from the 4th Season, for
a total runtime of 655 minutes.
Doctor Who: The
Complete 4th Season will have audio tracks in English (Dolby
Surround 5.1), with subtitles in English and will be presented in
Widescreen [16:9 Transfer]. Audio commentary will also be included
for Doctor Who: The Complete 4th Season.
Hot on the heels
of the acclaimed third series, Doctor Who returns for a fourth instalment
with a familiar face alongside the Doctor. Award-winning actor Catherine
Tate returns as the Doctor's new companion, reprising her role as
Donna Noble who featured in the 2006 Christmas special The Runaway
Bride. Now reunited, the Doctor and Donna travel back to Pompeii
in AD 79 on the eve of the infamous eruption where people are slowly
turning to stone, investigate a series of grisly murders with the
help of Agatha Christie, journey to the home world of the sinister
Ood and come face to face an old enemy of the Doctor's. Series Four
also sees the return of the Doctor's previous companions -- the
vivacious Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) and the feisty Martha Jones
(Freema Agyeman).

Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest
will be a single-disc DVD, which will have a total runtime
of 80 minutes. Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest will have
audio tracks in English (Stereo), with subtitles the same and
will be presented in Widescreen [16:9 Transfer].
In this animated
feature, the Doctor and Martha follow a trail of clues across wild
and wonderful alien worlds, to find the location of the legendary
lost spaceship, the Infinite. They soon discover that they are not
alone in their quest - the evil Baltazar (Anthony Stewart-Head)
is also searching for the ancient starship, and wnats to use its
powers in order to destroy Earth and rule the galaxy.
